Residential Power Plant-

Are those power plants who set up to fulfill the electricity requirement of small houses, school etc.
It starts from 30w to 10 kw

Commercial Power Plant-

Are those power plants who set up to fulfill the electricity requirement of Hotel, office, commercial space etc. It starts from 5kw upto 50kw. It may be off grid or Grid connecting.

Industrial Power Plant-

Are those power plants who set up to fulfill the electricity requirement of manufacturing unit etc. It starts from 50kw upto 1 MW. It may be off grid or Grid connecting.

Type of Power Plant

Off-Grid Projects

Off grid systems are stand-alone systems which are independent of the grid and are used for captive consumption. These generally require batteries to store energy, and power ‘dedicated’ electrical loads. These systems are mostly used for areas where there is no grid availability or frequent electricity cuts. For off-grid systems. Mostly set for Residential requirement.

Grid Connected Projects

Grid connected systems (kW to MW sized) are power plants which are directly connected and synchronized to the utility grid. These systems do not have batteries. Any surplus power generated is fed back into the grid. Central and State level support and long-term policy framework are creating a market for solar electricity. Mostly set by Commercial and Industrial user.
